Back-up Interpretation Services Coordinator
Directly reporting to the Interpretation Services Supervisor, the Back-up Interpretation Services Coordinator (BISC) is essential to the service delivery of MCIS’ interpretation Services as they are responsible for assigning interpreters to each requisition. The BISC requires flexibility with hours as the requisitions must be filled and MCIS provides services 365/24/7.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator helps to implement and coordinate all internal people processes of the organization, including recruitment, performance management, attendance management, payroll and benefit administration, and staff training, etc.
Back-up Project Manager
Directly reporting to the Translation Supervisor, the Back-up Project Manager is responsible for all activities related to the translation and related language services provided by the organization.
This is an on-call position, providing back-up coverage for MCIS’ Translation Department as needed. It is an ideal position for self-employed language professionals who would also like to gain experience in translation project management, while maintaining a freelance work arrangement. Availability during office hours (weekdays 8:00am-6:00pm EST) is required. Evening and weekend availability is a definite asset.
Directly reporting to the Translation Supervisor, the French Translator is responsible for translating and/or revising all types of documents from English to French and performing other related tasks according to client specifications.
