RFP Coordinator

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, and as an integral member of the Sales and Marketing team, the RFP Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Request for Proposal (RFP) and strategic partnership processes, and will support the Business Development Manager with the tasks outlined below. The role ensures that the Sales and Marketing team has access to quality information and the capacity to meet targets in a timely manner, while fulfilling MCIS’ mandates and contractual obligations. This role is a permanent part-time position, with the possibility of growing into full-time.

Training Coordinator

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all testing and training initiatives and programs as directed by the Training Manager. This includes the academic coordination of all training programs (online, classroom-based, interpretation, translation, and any other training program offered by MCIS), administration of testing of language professionals, maintenance and development of training tools and skills tests, as well as providing academic and administrative and support to trainees enrolled in training programs offered by MCIS. Resource Development Assistant (Ontario Works)

The Resource Development Assistant is responsible for developing the resources required by MCIS Language Solutions for optimal delivery of its services, under the direct guidance and supervision of the Vendor Manager. This role is also responsible for recruitment functions directly related to service delivery such as: reactive and proactive recruitment, screening and orientation of candidates, database management, and other related activities.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: this is an 11 months, full-time position at 30 hours per week with benefits such as paid sick leave and vacations.

Directly reporting to the Training Coordinator of the Interpreter Training programs, the Interpreter Training Facilitator is responsible for instructing students on the 28 modules that compose the program curriculum, for facilitating activities and in-class discussions among students, while taking into account the need to balance instruction, demonstration and work-time. The Interpreter Training facilitator is responsible for creating an environment where students have opportunities to observe, question and investigate material covered during each session (based on Behavioural Facilitation Methodology and the Principles of Adult Learning).
