My Experience and Credentials in the Language Industry:

I hold a BA in English language and literature and have more than eighteen years of interpreting and translating experience and over twenty years of ESL teaching and language training experience. Originally I am from Belgrade, Serbia, where I used to be a certified translator and sworn in court interpreter, as well as an ESL teacher. After coming to Canada, I continued being a language professional: fully accredited interpreter, certified translator, interpreters training courses facilitator and curricula developer. I have given a number of professional advancement workshops, presented at linguistic conferences and been a panel member. My translations include: books, collection of essays and papers, journals, manuals, etc. I am a passionate advocate in the language industry.
