Lydia de Guzman is a leader in the insurance industry, currently serving as VP & Chief Counsel – Group Benefits at Manulife. Lydia joined Manulife in 2015 and she has been focused on providing innovative and strategic solutions for her business partners ever since. Known for talent development and risk management, Lydia is an enabler of change and growth.
Lydia completed her JD at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law after obtaining an Honours BA from the University of Toronto’s Trinity College.
Lydia joined the MCIS Board in 2024 and serves on the Social Purpose Governance and Nominations Committee, where she brings her strategic acumen to support MCIS’s governance and growth.
