Iskuhi (Is-kou-hee) graduated from the Moscow Maxim Gorky Literature Institute with an MD in Fiction Translation. She has extensive experience as a fiction and non-fiction translator – Russian, Armenian, English. Before immigration to Canada in 2000, for more than 10 years she worked as an editor in several magazines, preparing articles on a wide range of topics. Numerous fiction stories, essays and novels translated by her were published in Armenia and Russia. Her Canadian training includes Interpreter certificate (MCIS), medical and legal terminology, Immigration (IRB). She also enjoys fine art photography, writing and sharing her knowledge and expertise.
