As Executive Director of MCIS, Latha Sukumar has guided and taken it to new heights over the past 2 decades.
Latha is a lawyer and social entrepreneur whose goal has been to grow a socially responsible and sustainable language services company that is the multilingual hub for the world, with a team of talented, motivated and passionate individuals committed to this goal.
Winner – National Award – Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (http://leaf.ca/), as one of 15 lawyers in Canada who has advanced equality rights for women.

An advocate for the rights of newcomers, Latha has served on a number of community boards. She has also spoken in the media, before legislative committees and at public gatherings on immigrant and victim rights issues. Latha believes in applying new discoveries she makes, to her personal and professional life. She loves collaborative work and partnership building while participating in entrepreneurial opportunities. Besides being a social entrepreneur, Latha is an avid blogger, a yoga teacher, and a Vipassana meditator.
